An old photo. A perfect sunset. A ways away. A different time. Sometimes I miss my hometown. I miss her especially when I see photos like this.
This is the first of my experiments with early evening photography — long-exposures, in particular. Not too bad, but then again, the City is rather photogenic, in any light.

A month ago, San Francisco got some wild, stormy weather, which culminated in deep, dramatic, dark blue clouds on the western horizon, gilt in the smoldering embers of a golden sunset. I was lucky to have been able to catch a few quick shots, before the Arctic winds started to make my fingers numb.
